Lake & River Fishing
As our fishing cabin rentals guest you’ll find yourself blessed with fish-filled waters. The area surrounding Rollway Resort is home to over 60 lakes, as well as the Au Sable and Rifle Rivers. Catch your dinner. Put some on ice to take home. Bring the smoker and your boat. Your cabin is equipped with a grill. There is plenty of room for parking multiple boat trailers at Rollway.
Don’t have a boat? No worries! We rent watercraft for fishing area lakes and rivers. Some folks opt to rent a pontoon and camp along the Au Sable rather than enjoying the comforts of our rustic cabins. Whatever floats your boat! Well, within reason, that is.
Obviously, with so many fishing locations to choose from, you’ll want to learn more about the nearby lakes. The kind of fish you can catch in each one will help guide you to the right place while you’re a guest here. The same can be said about fishing the Au Sable. We’re always more than happy to help our guests find the right fishing hole.
Off-Road Getaways
If you’re looking for cabin rentals with ATV trails in Northern Michigan – Rollway is your cup of tea. ORV Trail #6 runs right through our resort. There are miles and miles of trails through the national forest. Along with some breathtaking scenery.
Our resort is perfectly setup for ORV vacations. Just walk out of your cabin, jump on your machine, and hit the trail. Bring the dog, the kids, the whole family, or a group of friends. Our large cabin houses a group and we have plenty of parking area for multiple trailers.
Ride all day and gather around the fire at night. Go for a swim in the river. Maybe snag some dinner with a little shore fishing. People of all ages tend to have a great time while staying here.
Sounds like a lot of fun, but you don’t own an ORV? No problem! There’s local rental from RZR RIPN’ RENTALS… be wise though and reserve machines ahead of time.
Hunters’ Paradise
Our location in the national forest has made the resort popular for hunting cabin rentals for at least 80 years. No surprise there. The Au Sable Valley and Huron National Forest is home to all Northern Michigan wildlife and waterfowl.
Whatever you’re interested in bagging, staying at Rollway Resort puts you in the middle of the action. Bird hunters will find grouse, pheasant, partridge, turkey, duck, and geese in the area. Deer hunters will be delighted to hear that the area offers thousands of does and bucks. We also have black bears.
Feel free to bring your ORV/ATV along to help traverse the forest, but be advised that the vehicle can only be driven on designated trail. Roads, snowmobile trails, and open forest are off limits. Still, it’s easier than hunting on foot and makes bringing that trophy back to camp far less labor intensive too. Especially when the ORV trail runs right past your hunting cabin rentals’ door.
